We are a pet health care team. Each of our employees has a passion for pets. This is a bond that unites us all. We take that title and responsibility very seriously. We offer medical options that best meet the needs of our clients and patients.

We also value being community-minded. In fact, Bemidji Veterinary Hospital has been a part of the community since the 1940s. Many of our employees grew up near Bemidji or have lived in the Bemidji area for many years. We know our clients personally. Our staff members participate in community activities. They are regularly involved in community groups, volunteer projects, and charity events. During the construction of our new hospital, local contractors and resources were used for over 93% of the total project.

Every single person I’ve encountered there was absolutely wonderful! My cat had major abdominal surgery, and as Dr. Pillar quite accurately stated, my cat is a one-woman cat. A week later, my cat boarded there for 2 nights. Every tech I encountered, each time I’ve gone there, was attentive, caring, kind, and a joy to deal with. The same is true of Dr. Pillar, who is kind, caring, and has excellent attention to detail, which is exactly what you want in a good surgeon.
